Yesterday, Jim, Kathie, MaryAnn, Roger, Sophie, WanChong, Raul, Carina, Paolo and Maria came for dinner. Spring rolls, Rendang (Malaysian dry beef curry) with screw pine leaves and lemon grass scented jasmine rice were on the menu. We surprised Megan with a French silk pie with fireworks candles sticking on it. We ate, drink and shared experiences. For four and a half hours we gave ourselves to friends, one of life essentials.
