24apr2015 Friday_At 5am, a nice British-model taxi picked us up at Shanghai Chichen hotel to Pudong airport. The price was ¥180 including tip. Chang gun picked us at the airport and dropped us at his centrally located city view apartment. We walked to Lotte mall for lunch and is connected to the train station. At the fairly large supermarket across where we stayed, we shopped for groceries.

25apr2015 Saturday_ Made plan with Read to give M a surprise birthday. Her friends took her to Antonia for pizza. Later in the evening, Read gathered a bigger group of friends and gave her a cake, wine and sweet treats. We walked to the city center, locals closed streets for festivities. Warm in the day and cooling off at night. Expecting some festivites going on in the evening, were a tad disappointed nothing on. We returned and had onigiris for dinner at 7/11.
26apr2015 Sunday_chillaxed at home and made seafood noodle and onigiri meals.
27apr2015 Monday_Went over to the 2nd hand st. Rested at city park, secured Seoul train tickets. At Gaejeong resuarant, me opted for bibimbap while R asked for kimchee noodle soup ¥15.

28apr2015 Tuesday_Daegu city tour ₩5 for one, first stop Seomum market, over to seasoned raw seafood with banchan/side dishes at Uiseongmuchimhoe on Bangogae alley very good. Price ₩16. Climbed Mt Apsan, then to Kim kwang-suk road. Back to Dongseongno stop and had tea, coffee and cookies at the newly opened cafe on the ground floor of our apartment.

30apr2015 Thursday_Followed the walking route at Gyeongsanggamyeong park. Toured Daegu modern history museum, walked along Bukseong-ro, police history experience hall (closed for lunch), Chongro Elementary school, saw the nurse tree. On Taeyeong-ro, we had grilled pork bulgogi wrapped in shisho leaves, sitting on the floor while eating with velvet underground record as the background. Dessert
coffee and chamomile medley tea at Mass coffee cafe, ground floor of our Daegu apartment.
