July 4 2013
An early morning walk around the neighborhood.  We were greeted by the early birds and animals. A hawk swooshed above us.  Happy duckling wading in the water. Rabbits hopping in and out of the bushes.  Birds were twittering. As we turned into the residential area, a deer was standing there looking like a garden deco before running away. Noon, we took a bus at Pebblebrook and a train at MOA to MSP airport. Dinnered at Subway. Left at &:30pm for Reykjavik on Icelandic Air. The journey took 5 hours and 40 mins.
July 5 Fri-Cambridge
Arrived Reykjavik 6;30am 4 hrs later. Left Reykjavik at 7:30 am, arrived Heathrow 11:45 am. A mixed up between two different taxi companies met us at the airport. Mr.Rajah whom we had pre-paid took us to Cambridge. We left the city and into the greener part of London. Our stay at Holiday Inn Express is connected to garden path to the cambridge city. We walked to Sea Tree for fish and chips, fish stew and fish fillet. We sat outside and it was hot Summer day, the food was delicious. We had to wait to be seated.
July 6 Sat -Cambridge
Breakfast at the hotel British fare buffet. Today was a sizzling day here. We walked along Mill Rd. towards Jesus College. The walk was peppered with shops selling Malaysian groceries to recycled shop and kebab restuarant. Crossing the bridge over the train tracks, at the end the road of the busy city are fields filled with people pouring outside to sun themselves or just to lay on the cool lawns. Cyclists, buses, cars, pedestrains all vying for the narrow roads. We went in and out to all the different parts of Jesus College. M will be here for a month. She was excited to be on her own and making decision for herself.  We rested our tired legs at Green coffee Co at Market square. We had coffee, chocolate shake, water, carrot cake, panini and gronala bar before taking a bus back to the hotel. R went to get a huge amount of Doner king kebab on Mill Rd.
July 7  Sun -Cambridge
We took taxi to Jesus college after a sumptious breakfast at the hotel. We dropped M’s bags at the college and headed over to the Steam Punk exhibition at Guild Hall, Market place. We were too early, we around  the busy square. It was a medium sized exhibition with impressive steam punkers. A few them were really stunning, I couldn’t stop looking. R had ginger cake and milk tea, M bought a pair of shoulder duster earrings for 10 pounds. Back to Jesus college, student were coming in but M could not get into her room due to keys mixed up. A impromptu  tour was set up by Justin, the assistant director which was far more interesting than expected. M stayed at Chapel hall #8 room 10 which has a nice modern bath on the 3rd flloor. We pulled the baggage up the narrow staircase. The door keys and lock prove harder to unlock without help instructions. Leaving M, we walked back to hotel before stopping at Tesco for sandwiches and a tub of strawberries and orange juice.
